Craft and Tea monthly Event

Starting on September 26th and subsequently the last Wednesday in each month between 2 and 4pm the Fun Raisers are opening up the committee room/shop at the allotment site for tea, chat and craft activities (knitting, crochet, sewing, and any other handicraft activities you might like to suggest). Please come and join us for any or all of the above activities. Tea and biscuits (maybe cake) will be available as on a Sunday morning. Donations to local charities will be much appreciated. All welcome.

2019 Special Events 

Monday 11th March – AGM  – 7 pm at Aldershot Rugby Club

The Annual General Meeting (AGM). Please come for a get together after essential business completed (Bar available).

Sunday 14th April – EASTER EVENT

The Easter event will take place. Prizes for the smartest Easter Bonnet, Easter egg hunt for the Children and a raffle.

Saturday May 18th – OPEN DAY – 10.30 to 2pm

An Open day will be held, family and friends will be welcome. There will be plants for sale, refreshments further details will be circulated nearer to the time.

If any members feel able to donate any spare plants, cuttings etc. and cakes this would boost our fund raising for our local charities.

Saturday August 17th – BBQ – 3PM.

This will be our BBQ, bring your own food to cook and refreshments. Produce competitions will be judged. (Please see the notice board for categories to enter) This is your opportunity to Impress and SHOW off your efforts.

Sunday 27th October – PUMPKIN SUNDAY – 10.30am

Will be Pumpkin Sunday so set some seed and let them grow, plant out at the end of May. Further details to follow.

Sunday December 15th – CHRISTMAS – 10.30am

Our Christmas Celebrations. Tea, Coffee, mince pies and other tasty bits on offer. A raffle will take place and Father Xmas might appear.

As always all of the money raised from the Special Events and the Sunday café (tea, coffee, biscuits/cake) go to our local Charities. In 2018, £1500 was raised and was equally divided between Chloe and Sophie’s  Ears Fund (CSSEF) and The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. Can we increase this sum in 2019? This can only be achieved with your continued support and many thanks for doing so to date.
