Events

As always all the money raised from the Special Events and the Sunday cafe (tea, coffee, biscuits/cake) go to our charities.  In 2025 we donated an incredible £10,040.  Can we increase this sum?  Perhaps, but only with your continued support and many thanks for doing so to date.

ALLERGEN INFORMATION

The Allergen labelling law, sometimes called Natasha’s Law, changed earlier this year.  However it does not affect how we operate at the allotment.  Please be assured that at all times we are compliant with current legislation.     We do not have to list all ingredients on homemade cakes but there is a strong recommendation that the more we can provide about allergens the better.  We already stipulate that if any cake contains nuts a label should be attached.  Additionally,  we are occasionally asked for dairy free or gluten free cakes.  If your cake comes into this category please put a label on with this information.  It will help our customers make safe choices.
